INVITATION TO BID Maintenance Building Expansion

The work is generally defined as the Maintenance Building Expansion 2019. The work is located in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The work will consist of two projects, the general project will include the design, procurement and construction of a pole building of 50 ft by 70 ft with an eave height of 25 feet and also includes all the site work, stormwater management and pavement. The second project is for the electrical elements associated with the pole building.
The Owner is the LANCASTER AREA SEWER AUTHORITY, 130 CENTERVILLE ROAD LANCASTER PA 17603, Telephone 717-344-5830. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted via PennBid’s “Questions” tab. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax or direct e-mail. Online sealed bids for the construction will be received by the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority via the PennBid Program (http://Pennbid.procureware.com) until February 7, 2020 at 11:00 am prevailing time at which time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am prevailing time, January 21, 2020 at the office of the Authority at 130 Centerville Road, Lancaster, PA 17603. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost at http://Pennbid.procureware.com. Each Bid must be accompanied by scan of the Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check or Bid bond (in the required form) for 10% of the Bid total. The lowest responsible bidder shall submit the actual Bid Security to the Authority within three (3) business days after bid opening. The Lancaster Area Sewer Authority hereby reserves the right which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all Bids and waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid.Michael A.
