LASA operates a Trucked Waste Program to provide a convenient disposal option for local waste haulers. LASA currently accepts wastes from the following sources: residential holding/septic tanks, commercial holding/septic tanks, industrial/commercial wastewater, landfill leachate, and municipal/industrial sludges. Licenses are issued to each hauler of waste, and permits are issued to each generator of Industrial Waste. Each discharge at the treatment facility is sampled and analyzed at the LASA laboratory. The results of these analyses are used for billing purposes.
